Loop & Flow
Welcome to Loop & Flow
Hi! I’m Nat, the heart (and hook) behind Loop & Flow. I started this space because sometimes life is stressful, chaos is real, and yarn… well, yarn is just therapeutic. My personal motto sums it up perfectly:
“I crochet because homicide is frowned upon.”
I believe that crochet is the best form of therapy. I first learnt to crochet during the COVID lockdown, teaching myself through YouTube videos, and I was amazed by the peace and focus it brought me.
I know exactly what it's like to learn from the very beginning. While I'm still learning, I'm excited to share the foundational skills I've gained and prove that anyone can pick up a hook and start creating. The rhythmic pull of the yarn and the quiet concentration on each stitch were my form of therapy.
That feeling of calm is what I want to share with you. With a background in mental health advocacy, I’ve seen the incredible power of a creative outlet to foster emotional well-being. So, I started Loop & Flow to combine my love for crochet with my passion for mindfulness and connection.
Loop & Flow is all about combining creativity, mindfulness, and connection. My six-week beginner online workshop, Loops & Lessons, is designed to help absolute beginners learn the basics, explore mindfulness techniques, and build confidence — one loop at a time. Each course comes with the option of a curated 'Get Stitching!' Starter kit (available for a small fee), or you can bring your own supplies.
After your course, the fun continues with Loops & Laughs, our weekly online meetups for makers of all skill levels. These sessions are a space to crochet, socialise, share stories, and recharge your creative batteries — all in a supportive, welcoming environment.
Loop & Flow is more than just a place to learn to crochet; it’s a community where you can laugh, unwind, and stitch your way to calm.
So, grab a hook, take a deep breath, and let’s make something beautiful — together.
Warmly,
Nat
